So many young girls wish that they could look exactly like the models they see in pictures and magazines but do they know the real truth of what they actually look like? Most models are photo shopped or airbrushed before their pictures are put in magazines and posted for the public to see. I have heard of a couple stories where a celebrity got angry because when their picture came out it was not their real body. They enhance their breasts if they are not big enough and take away any fat they have to make sure they look skinny. I would be angry too. Not every woman in this world is skinny. We are allowed to weigh more than one hundred pounds and have curves. I think it looks disgusting when a model is too skinny and you can see their ribs. It is better to have curves in my opinion. Women need to look healthy, not be so skinny that it looks like they could have an eating disorder. Eating disorders are very popular among models because they have such a high mindset that they have to be super skinny to keep their job. This is not true. Hello, have you ever heard of plus size models??? Yes, it is possible to be big and beautiful. Any woman can be a model if they put their mind to it. Sorry ladies but thin is not in! What kind of message do you think this is sending to young girls? It is saying that they need to be super skinny. In thier mind that means doing anything to stay thin, this includes eating disorders and extreme diets. This is not healthy. We need to send a positive message out to these young ladies. Fashion shows are starting to ban overly thin models because they need to be in a healthy weight range. Hopefully things will continue to look up in the future and we will not have to worry about super thin models.
